The 38th International Conference on Computers & Industrial Engineering is organized
to disseminate recent theoretical and methodological developments, significant technical
applications, case studies and survey results in the area of Computers, Industrial
Engineering/Management and other related areas.
The Conference is mainly sponsored by Computers & Industrial Engineering: An International
Journal, hosted and organized by Beihang University (BUAA). Beijing, holder of 2008
Olympics, will be the venue of the 38th conference on Computers and Industrial Engineering,
from Oct. 31 to Nov.2, 2008. It welcomes the participants to enjoy the wonderful
scenes with the new Olympic Stadiums, which have memorized the global pageant. The
conference will provide a very good opportunity for researchers and professionals
of industrial engineering to exchange their ideas, gain insight from industry leaders,
and enjoy the charm of the Chinese history in autumn, the best season of the year
in China.

The 38CIE Conference agenda is arranged as following:
October 31，2008：Participators make registration
November 1—2, 2008: Hold meeting
November3, 2008: Visit Olympics Stadiums
Meanwhile, considering that the period of meeting is the peak season for traveling, and there will be difficult in the reservation of hotel; hereby, we send you the additional remarks about hotel reservation.
The conference committee will assure you that you can have the room during the meeting, only if you fill in registration information according to our requirement and pay for the reservation deposit (full amount). Or the committee will consider that you don’t need us to reserve room for you ahead, and you have to deal with your accommodation before front desk of hotel during the conference.

第38届国际计算机与工业工程大会会议议程安排大致如下：
2008年10月31日： 参会作者报到登记
2008年11月1日-2日：大会正式开会
2008年11月3日：大会组委会将安排作者参观几处奥运场馆，如鸟巢，水立方等地。
另外，目前是您填写注册信息的阶段，由于会议期间为北京旅游旺季，考虑到到时预订酒店比较困难，我们特对您发出酒店预定补充说明：
只有按照注册表中的要求填写了预定房间信息并交纳了预定房间费的作者，大会组委会才能保证其房间，其它大会组委会一律认为作者不需要预定房间，将不保证其房间，由作者报到时自行到酒店前台办理。
